The IEC-8000 4-stage cartridge filter provides advanced filtration for all Toyo, Leveluk, and Ange water ionizers. It is designed to work in water ionizers such as Pure Port II, Protec, IE-300, IE-400, IE-500, IE-900, Leveluk DXII, Leveluk SD501, etc. Many customers are using there water ionizer for years without ever changing the filter cartridges. This filter should be changed at least once a year. Please don't depend on the water ionizer to prompt or give an alert to change the filter. Sometimes it does not. I have heard one friend of ours actually going for four years without changing the filter in his Pure Porte II. This is not wise. This filter enhances the taste of water because it cleans the water so well.  The IEC-8000 is a Granulated Activated Carbon GAC filter which is rated to purify up to 3600 gallons of water or over the period of one year which ever comes first. Please note that the quality of the source water also affects the life of your filter. A new filter also optimizes the ph of the water.

We also have the MW-7000DN lead removal filter. Please note that the MW-7000DN filter does not fit in all IE-900s. If the base where the filter rests in the IE-900 has a small bump the MW-7000DN will not fit, but if it is all smooth then you will have no problems installing the MW-7000DN.
